About Me


Hi, guys! My name is Melissa, a 30 something Army wife and miracle twin mommy to Logan & Emma (and fur mommy to Yawkey)! My super powers are my naturally (extremely) curly hair and my love language of sarcasm. I live for all things New England...especially my sports. We love everything outdoors and COLD!!!!

I was born a Maine-iac/Mainer (from Maine for everyone outside of New England) and it will ALWAYS be home to us. I was blessed to be able to grow up all over as an Army B.R.A.T. Somehow I convinced the sexiest soldier on earth to marry me, so I guess my gifts of persuasion are better than I realized.

After several years of praying that God would allow us to grow our family and 3 failed rounds of fertility treatment, we finally got pregnant through IVF/ICSI!!!! God is so good and worked so many miracles in our lives and we're beyond thankful for His blessings! Our boy/girl twins arrived in August 2016 and we are loving this adventure as parents!!!

My husband recently graduated Army flight school and is officially a CHINOOK PILOT! We just completed our 3rd PCS to Ft Drum, New York and the NORTH Country!

We are currently praying that God will allow us to bring home more of our embabies and grow our family further.
